Windows Vista Ultimate upgrade hangs on install
As I'm sure you know, "drive" letters are not assigned to hard drives, but to volumes (primary partitions and logical drives) on the physical disks. I want to dual boot the two operating systems? Un able to change drive letter to D: in windows vista home basic? Believe this is reason I can't boot both systems.

Dual booting - FSX on two OS's?

Hey gang, Just curious, anyone dual booting , say XP Pro and Vista, and have one copy of FSX installed and running on both OS's? Budget Gaming Vid Card and CPU
I'm running XP and can't see any need to upgrade to Vista. I think I would still need floppy support (for occasional vintage DOS-era progs). I presume all boards are sata these days, I'm sure there must be advantages to be had from quicker or dual processors, much faster FSB speeds and more efficient chips etc.

Ok, so in regards to booting into XP or Vista, let me clarify where I am with that and what it is doing. I have three sata hard drives. Drive 1 = XP OS ( 2 partitiions) If you don't have dual boot, it usually means that the Vista installation did not see your XP drive (was it unplugged?) if so that's just fine.
